Ken Dill, PhD, a decorated figure in the fields of physics and astronomy at Stony Brook University and beyond, has been chosen to deliver the Leo Sreebny Distinguished Lecture at the School of Dental Medicine’s Annual Research Symposium on February 26, 2025.
The beginning of an annual tradition, Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine welcomed graduates celebrating milestone anniversaries back to campus for an Alumni Class Reunion on Saturday, October 26. Festivities included an afternoon barbecue, question-and-answer session with current students, school tour as well as a cocktail hour and sitdown dinner at Port Jefferson Country Club.
Patrick Lloyd, DDS, MS, dean of Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, was elected by the American Dental Education Association’s House of Delegates to serve on the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), at its annual session in March. His appointment was approved by the American Dental Association’s House of Delegates during the SmileCon 2024 annual meeting, in New Orleans, Louisiana, in October.
